SAMMAMISH, Wash. (UNLVRebels.com) -

The UNLV women's golf team shot 20-over par 308 during the first round on Monday and are tied for seventh of 16 at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational, which is being played at Sahalee Country Club (par 72, 6,054 yards) in Sammamish, Wash.

Leading the field is host Washington, as the Huskies shot a 5-over, followed by UC Irvine at 9-over and Stanford at 11-over. UC Davis, Oregon and San Jose State are all tied for fourth at 14-over. Washington's Cyd Okino leads all individuals at 2-under (70), one shot ahead of teammates SooBin Kim, playing as an individual, and Charlotte Thomas who are at 1-under, tied for second place.

UNLV is led by junior Demi Mak, who is tied for 15th at 3-over (75), five shots off the lead. She shot birdies on holes No. 6, 16 and 17.

Rebel freshman Anna Lena Kraemer is tied for 25th at 4-over (76), sophomore Dana Finkelstein is tied for 35th at 6-over (78), sophomore Mayko Chwen Wang is tied for 43rd at 7-over (79) and sophomore Marguerite Swearingen is tied for 59th at 9-over (81).
