Rebels Sixth After Day Two In Washington

SAMMAMISH, Wash. (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV women's golf team is in sixth place after the second day of play at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational, which is being played at the Sahalee Country Club in Sammamish, Wash. The Rebels turned in a score of 13-over-par Tuesday (301), making them 33-over (609) through 36 holes.

Washington continues to lead after posting a 5-over (293), bringing the Huskies to 10-over (586) for the tournament. UC Davis is second at 19-over, UC Irvine is third at 18-over, Stanford is fourth at 31-over and Oregon is fifth at 32-over.

Washington's SooBin Kim, playing as an individual, leads all individuals at 6-under (71-67) for the tournament after posting a 5-under (67). She is five shots ahead of her teammates Cyd Okino and Charlotte Thomas who sit at even-par (70-74, 71-73, respectively) for the tournament.

UNLV is led by sophomore Dana Finkelstein, who is tied for 12th at 5-over (78-71). Rebel junior Demi Mak is tied for 15th at 6-over (75-75). Other Rebels: sophomore Mayko Chwen Wang is tied for 27th at 10-over (79-75), freshman Anna Lena Kraemer is tied for 35th at 12-over (76-80) and sophomore Marguerite Swearingen is tied for 60th at 18-over (81-81).
