FRESNO, Calif. --The Fresno State women's golf team will play in its second tournament of the spring season, the Cal Classic, in Pleasanton, Calif. on Feb. 25-26.

"We are really excited about heading up to Cal this weekend," head coach Angie Cates-Moore said. "Stanford was a good experience for us last week. Overall we know we can do a better job during tournaments at keeping our focus on our routines and the process. Our goal is to improve on that this week."

The two-day Cal Classic is held on the 18-hole, par-72, 6230-yard Ruby Hill Golf Club in the East Bay area among the hills of the historic Livermore Valley.

The Bulldogs' lineup includes Shaylee Yano, Hannah Sodersten, Madchen Ly, Hillary Billingsley, and Christine Uhalde.

"The team put up some great scores this week during practice and they know they're prepared," Cates-Moore said. "Now it's just a matter of being aware of extra stress or tension when they are competing and keeping it in check. They have the tools to manage that and we're all looking forward to some more competition."
