TCU Seventh At LSU Tiger Golf Classic

BATON ROUGE, La. -- The No. 32 TCU women's golf team is in seventh place after Saturday's second round of the LSU Tiger Golf Classic in Baton Rouge, La.

Brooke Beeler's streak of five straight rounds shooting par or better came to an end with a 79. She's the top Horned Frog in the individual standings, tying for 18th with a 151.

Sanna Nuutinen and April McCoy added a 77 and 78, respectively, for the Horned Frogs. Nuutinen is tied for 26th at 153. McCoy, who birdied three of her opening six holes, lowered her score five strokes from Friday's opening round.

No. 16 Tennessee and No. 8 LSU are tied for the team lead with an 11-over-par 587. TCU is at 620.

LSU's Madelene Sagstrom sits atop the leaderboard with a 2-under 142, one stroke ahead of North Carolina's Catherine O'Donnell.
