FORT WORTH, Texas -- The No. 39 TCU women's golf team returns to action Friday for the first time in nearly three weeks when it begins play at the 38th-annual PING/ASU Invitational in Tempe, Ariz.

The 54-hole event will take place at the par 71, 6,121-yard ASU Karsten Golf Course. There will be 18 holes each day. TCU's Friday tee times begin at 10 a.m. CST. Live scoring is available at

The 17-team field features nine programs ranked in the top 25: No. 1 UCLA, No. 3 USC, No. 5 Arizona State (host), No. 7 Vanderbilt, No. 8 LSU, No. 11 Oklahoma State, No. 12 Texas A&M, No. 20 Arizona and No. 23 Washington. Other participants, besides TCU, include New Mexico, Oregon State, San Diego State, Stanford, Texas, UC Davis and UNLV.

TCU is playing in the PING/ASU Invitational for the second straight spring. The Horned Frogs finished eighth last year. Prisela Campbell tied for fourth individually with an even-par 216. Brooke Beeler tied for 15th.

Representing TCU this weekend will be Beeler, Alexandra Bonetti, April McCoy, Sanna Nuutinen and Rachel Raastad. That lineup led TCU to the Central District Invitational title in February. The Horned Frogs have finished in the top 8 in six of their eight tournaments this season.

TCU will be in action for the first time since finishing 12th at the LSU Tiger Golf Classic (March 9-11) in Baton Rouge, La.

The Horned Frogs are the only team to place three individuals in the Mountain West's top-10 leaderboard this season. Beeler is third in the league with a 74.8 stroke average, while Nuutinen ranks sixth at 75.3 and McCoy is 10th at 76.5. Bonetti and Raastad are 16th and 19th, respectively, with marks of 76.8 and 77.1.

Nuutinen has been TCU's top finisher in four tournaments this season, while Beeler has accomplished the feat twice.
