Rebels Travel To Arizona State

Tempe, Ariz. (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV women's golf team will continue its spring season this week, Friday, April 12 - Sunday, April 14 at the PING/ASU Invitational, which is hosted by the Arizona State Sun Devils.

The 54-hole event will take place at the par-72, 6,223-yard the ASU Karsten Golf Course with live scoring available at Golf Stat.

Tee times on Friday start at 8 a.m., on Saturday and Sunday they are scheduled for 7:30 a.m. and on Tuesday they are scheduled for 7:30 a.m.

Competing for the Rebels will be Dana Finkelstein, Mayko Chwen Wang, Demi Mak, Marguerite Swearingen and Katerina Prorokova.

The Rebels will be part of a 17-team field that includes Alabama, Arizona, Arizona State, California, Colorado, Duke, Oregon, South Carolina, Stanford, Texas, Texas A&M, TCU, UC Davis, UCLA, USC and Washington. 11 of the 17 teams competing are ranked in the top-25 according to Golfstat.

UNLV is coming off a fifth place finish at the The Farms Invite two weeks ago. Finkelstein led the Rebels, finishing tied for eighth with a score of 7-over 223. Her finish was enough to garner the Mountain West Golfer of the Week award for the second time this season. Next up for the Rebels will be the MW Conference Tournament on April 25-27 in Palm Desert, Calif.
