Wyoming Soccer Adds Transfer Goalkeeper

LARAMIE, Wyo. - The Wyoming Cowgirl soccer team and head coach Pete Cuadrado announced Thursday the addition of transfer goalkeeper Alex Boehm from Saint Mary's College, California.
"Alex has been playing at a high level prior to joining us and she will be a great addition this season," Cuadrado said. "She has a lot of experience playing at the club level and we look forward to getting her here to join the Cowgirls."
Boehm, a native of Wilsonville, Ore., will join the Cowgirls after playing one season at Saint Mary's College. She redshirted her freshman season at Saint Mary's and will join the Cowgirls as a redshirt freshman. She played high school soccer at Wilsonville High School where she was a four-year letterwinner in soccer. She was a team captain her senior year while also earning honorable mention all-state honors. She was also a two-time first team all-league selection. She played club soccer for Lake Oswego Soccer Club, helping them to at least a semifinal state finish each year. She led Lake Oswego Club to state championships in 2004 and 2005 and state finalist finishes in 2007 and 2009. She was also an Oregon ODP '92 team member from 2005-09 and was a Region IV Pool Player selection in 2008. In the classroom, Boehm was a National Honor Society member and was a member of her high school's honor roll all four years.
