March 20, 2013

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The athletic department announced Wednesday that it will be holding try-outs for Colorado State’s first-ever women’s soccer program on Thursday, March 28.

Interested players must be full-time students, enrolled in at least 12 credits at CSU, in order to participate. The try-out will take place in the Indoor Practice Facility from 6-8 p.m. MT.

Prior to the try-out, a mandatory meeting will take place Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the McGraw Athletic Center in the Coors Family Foundation Auditorium on the first floor.

Each player should bring proof of a current athletic physical exam and sickle cell testing results to the meeting on Tuesday. The physical exam must have been performed after October 28, 2012. Attendees will have the opportunity to do a sickle cell test Wednesday at Hartshorne Health Center if they haven’t already done so.

A member of the athletic training staff will be in attendance at the tryout meeting to answer questions related to physical exams and sickle cell testing.
