Booth Earns Conference Player of the Week Accolades

SAN DIEGO - San Diego State forward Kelsey Booth has been named Mountain West Player of the Week, announced on Monday. College Sports Madness identifies the highest impact players nationally and from each conference.

The Concord, Calif., native was instrumental in SDSU starting off the season with a record of 2-0. The Aztecs earned a double-overtime 1-0 victory against SMU on Friday and then they picked up a 2-0 win against Arizona State on Sunday.

In SDSU's win against SMU, Booth notched a game-high three shots. Against ASU, meanwhile, Booth tallied another game-high in shots (four) as well as scoring the game-winner and assisting on the team's second goal.

The Aztecs continues their five-game home stand on Wednesday as they take on St. Francis (PA) at the SDSU Sports Deck.
