Air Force Travels East To Play St. John's and Fairleigh Dickinson>
Air Force travels to the East Coast to take on St. John's and Fairleigh Dickinson this weekend. The Falcons take on St. John's on Friday, Aug. 24 and Fairleigh Dickinson on Sunday, Aug. 26.

2012 Falcons
Air Force returns 16 letterwinners and eight starters. The Falcons welcome 11 newcomers. Air Force returns three of its top four scorers from last season, including leading 2011 scorer in sophomore midfielder McKenna Fox.

2011 Recap
Air Force went 6-10-3 and finished fifth in the Mountain West Conference in 2011. The Falcons graduated four seniors, all starters.

Falcons start season 2-0
Air Force opened the season with an undefeated weekend, downing Lamar 3-0 Friday and Montana 1-0 Sunday. Megan Dozier scored a pair of goals and Leah Bratt added another in the win over Lamar. Bratt scored Air Force's lone goal in the 80th minute in the win vs. Montana. The Falcons opened the season 2-0 for the second-consecutive season and just the third time in the last 10 years. For her efforts, Bratt was named Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week.

Team Captains
Senior defender Kim Koeppen and senior midfielder Sophia Lockerby are the team captains for the 2012 season.

Scouting St. John's
St. John's opened the season with a 2-0 win against Mason and lost 5-0 at #9 Penn State. Hailey Hemmer and Morgan Ritter scored goals for St. John's vs. Mason. Lauren Ferris has a 2.75 GAA in front of the net for the Red Storm.

Scouting Fairleigh Dickinson
Fairleigh Dickinson went 0-1-1 over the weekend, tying Iona 1-1 and losing to Saint Peter's 2-0. Esther Rochon scored FDU's goal. Sage Dovale has a 1.35 GAA for the Knights.
