San Diego State's 4-0 start has propelled the Aztecs into the national rankings with a No. 25 listing in this week's National Soccer Coaches Association of America/Continental Tire Top 25 poll. SDSU will square off against a fellow Top 25 opponent when the Aztecs play host to No. 5/13 Pepperdine on Friday.

Notables:

  • Fresno State sophomore goalkeeper Katie DeVault tied the school record twice last weekend for single-game saves with 12 against both No. 5/4 UCLA and CSU Northridge.
  • New Mexico's 0-3-1 start is the worst since opening the 2001 campaign with a similar record. The Lobos have suffered three consecutive shutouts, marking the team's longest scoring drought since a three-game stretch from Oct. 21 to Oct. 27, 2007.
  • San Diego State is off to a 4-0 start for the first time in 16 seasons and just the second time overall.
  • Wyoming's six goals against Montana State-Billings on Friday were the most the Cowgirls have scored since putting up six against Jacksonville in 2007.
