San Diego State climbed to No. 20 in the latest NSCAA/Continental Tire Coaches' Top 25 poll and entered the Soccer America rankings at No. 21 after shutting out then-No. 5/13 Pepperdine, 1-0, last Friday.

  • San Diego State and Wyoming each enter this week's action riding five-match win steaks.
  • Each of Air Force's last three matches has gone into double-overtime, with the last two ending in scoreless ties. The Falcons have surrendered only two goals this season, with both coming in their lone loss (Aug. 24 at St. John's).
  • New Mexico has not lost an overtime match on the road since dropping a 2-1 decision to No. 21 Oklahoma State in its 2007 season-opener.
  • No. 20/21 San Diego State has opened the 2012 campaign with five consecutive shutouts. The last time the Aztecs registered five straight shutouts was during the 2004 season.
  • UNLV won back-to-back double-overtime matches for the first time in program history, outlasting Oklahoma and Florida Atlantic by identical 2-1 margins last week.
  • Wyoming has scored its opponents by an 18-to-11 margin through six matches. The Cowgirls are outshooting opponents by an 81-to-41 ratio (13.5 to 7.2 shots per game).
