Hurst Tabbed To CS360 Primetime Performer Honor Roll

San Diego State redshirt senior Tiffany Hurst has been named to the CollegeSoccer360 Primetime Performer Weekly Honor Roll for the week of Aug. 27 - Sept. 2 for her performance in the team's 1-0 win over then-No. 5 Pepperdine. She joins nine others and is the lone player honored from the Mountain West.

Hurst played all 90 minutes on Friday and her stellar defensive play helped limit the Waves to just three shots, including one on goal. Her play in the midfield stifled Pepperdine's offense and helped the Aztecs control the possession as they notched their fifth consecutive shutout on the season.

CollegeSoccer360.com names one top primetime player and nine other primetime performers following each week of competition. Selection for these weekly awards is based not just on raw stats, but on performance in a game involving a top-50 team or conference favorite, on the quality of the opponent, on the player's contribution to team success and strong leadership in clutch performances and overcoming adversity.

SDSU, which is No. 22 in CS360's composite rankings, returns to action on Friday when it opens play in the Minnesota Gold Classic. The No. 20/21/T-24 Aztecs (5-0) will play Minnesota on Friday, Sept. 7 and then face off with Iowa State on Sunday, Sept. 9. Both contests will be held at Elizabeth Lyle Robbie Stadium in Minneapolis, Minn.
