Through two weeks of Conference play, Fresno State, New Mexico and No. 7/13 San Diego State are tied atop the Mountain West women's soccer standings with identical 2-0 marks.

Notables:

  • With Sunday's 1-0 win over Nevada, New Mexico extended its unbeaten streak in Conference play to 16 games (12-0-4), dating back to the 2009 season. Included in that stretch is a run of five straight MW victories, which ties a school record.
  • New Mexico has registered five consecutive shutouts, matching a school record set in 1993.
  • UNLV handed Air Force its first home loss of the season with a 1-0 win in Colorado Springs last Friday. The victory also pushed the Rebels' school-record unbeaten streak to nine matches (8-0-1).
  • San Diego State owns a 12-1-1 record heading into this week's action. The Aztecs boast the fifth-best win percentage (.893) in the NCAA this season.
  • Fresno State goalkeeper Katie DeVault has 93 saves on the season to rank eighth in the nation.
  • New Mexico's 1-0 win over Nevada on Sunday marked the Lobos' fifth consecutive shutout. Senior Kelli Cornell has played all 1201:38 minutes in goal for UNM this season and is riding a 492:06 shutout streak heading into this week's action. She has 45 wins and 39 shutouts for her career.
  • San Diego State goalkeeper Rachel Boaz ranks 15th nationally with a .501 goals-against-average. She has surrendered just seven goals in 1256:37 minutes of action this season.
  • San Diego State's Megan Jurado and UNLV's Jenn Wolfe are tied for the MW lead and fourth nationally with five game-winning goals apiece this season.
  • Wyoming's Sara Paul has 10 assists through 13 matches, tying with William & Mary's Cortlyn Bristol for second-most nationally.
  • Paul had nine shot attempts last Saturday against Fresno State, setting a new Wyoming single-game record. The previous mark of eight was shared by seven former Cowgirls.
