SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV Rebels (15-14) snapped their two-game losing streak at Cal Poly's Mustang Classic with a 3-0 blanking of the Ball State Cardinals (18-8) Saturday morning at Bob Janssen Field. Tayler Aleman led the Rebel offense with two hits, two RBI and two runs in the game.
The Rebels began the game with a four-hit, two-run first inning. Paige Emerson got the offensive revving with an infield single to lead off the game. After a sacrifice bunt by Jaexie Balilea, Aleman smashed an RBI double to left to score Emerson from second. Aleman scored two batters later following singles by Kylie Wagner and Pauline Monreal.
