San Diego State is coming off a 2-4 weekend at the Cathedral City Classic, where three of its losses came to top-15 teams, including No. 6/6 Oklahoma, No. 8/8 Texas and No. 14/15 Stanford.

The Aztec offense has homered 21 times in 17 games this season, which is already tied for the fourth most in a season in program history and more than four of the program's seven NCAA tournament teams (2001 - 12, 2003 - 12, 2008 - 14, 2009 - 12).

Sophomore Hayley Miles leads SDSU in numerous categories, including batting average (.375), at-bats (56), runs (18), hits (21), doubles (7), total bases (43), walks (7) and on-base percentage (.438). Classmate Lorena Klopp, meanwhile, has team highs of six home runs and 16 RBIs.

Redshirt junior Rebecca Arbino (2-3, 1.39 ERA, 40.1 IP) and senior Bailey Micetich (5-2, 2.10 ERA, 53.1 IP) lead a pitching staff that has combined for two shutouts and 104 strikeouts in 117 1/3 innings.
