COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - New Mexico shut out North Dakota State and Cal State Bakersfield at the UNM Invitational on Friday, giving the Lobos their best start in program history at 15-2. UNLV also went 2-0 at its own Eller Media Stadium Classic, defeating Seton Hall and New Mexico State.

Rams Open Home Slate with 8-2 Loss to UNI
FORT COLLINS, Colo. - After three weekends of play, Colorado State finally got the chance to play in front of its home crowd on Friday, hosting the third-annual Colorado State Classic at Ram Field. The Rams only completed one of two scheduled games, however, as they lost to Northern Iowa, 8-2, and later had their game against Saint Mary's suspended in the fourth inning due to darkness.
