SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- The weather in California has been a consistent disruption for the CSU softball team this week, as rainy conditions have forced the cancellation of the entire Friday slate of the Capital Classic softball tournament at Shea Stadium. As a result, the Rams' scheduled games against No. 14/15 Louisville and host Sacramento State have been cancelled and will not be made up.

Friday marks the third day of the Rams' nine-day California swing in which rain forced a cancellation or postponement. The games against Louisville and Sacramento State are the third and fourth games to be cancelled on the trip.

Saturday's tournament schedule will remain the same, weather permitting. The Rams are slated to take on Princeton at 2 p.m. MT. On Sunday, they will face Akron at 10 a.m. MT.
