COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Mountain West portion of the 2013 softball season got underway Thursday with Colorado State, Fresno State and San Diego State posting victories. The Rams shut out UNLV, 2-0, while the Bulldogs edged fellow MW newcomer Nevada, 6-4, in the inaugural MW tilt for both squads. The Aztecs began defense of their 2012 crown with a 4-1 win over New Mexico.
