The San Diego State softball team looks to begin a new winning streak this week when it plays two non-conference road games. The Aztecs (25-13, 5-1 Mountain West), who tied a school record with 13 consecutive wins before falling at Nevada, 4-2, on Sunday, will travel to Cal State Fullerton (16-22, 3-6 Big West) for a single game at 6 p.m. PT Wednesday and will play a solo contest against UC Riverside (15-24, 0-9 Big West) at noon PT Saturday.

The two games are part of a season-long nine-game road trip for SDSU, which is receiving votes in the latest Softball poll for the fourth straight week.

Nine of San Diego State's 12 losses this season have come against nationally ranked schools, including four vs. 2012 Women's College World Series teams. Additionally, the Aztecs have played 16 teams who made last year's NCAA tournament.

Junior Lorena Bauer (San Diego/Steele Canyon HS) leads the league in batting average (.410), slugging percentage (.786) and total bases (92), while junior Patrice Jackson (Kansas City, Mo.) is hitting .386 with a MW-high 10 homers to go along with 25 RBIs and 23 runs. Senior Kamerin May (Corona, Calif.) (.357, 3 HR, 22 RBI), sophomore Kayla Jordan (San Diego/Bonita Vista HS) (.323, 5 HR, 29 R) and senior Kristin May (Corona, Calif.) (.303, 17 RBI, 9 2B) are also hitting above .300 for the .302-hitting Aztecs.

Freshman left-hander Danielle O'Toole (Upland, Calif.) (10-5, 1.61 ERA, 113.0 IP) and senior right-hander Rebecca Arbino (Clovis, Calif.) (14-8, 1.87 ERA, 135.0 IP) rank first and second in the Mountain West in ERA and back a pitching staff that easily leads the conference ERA at 1.93 (Fresno State is second at 2.73).
