COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Shutouts were the norm rather than the exception in Mountain West softball action Friday, as Colorado State, Fresno State and UNLV each held their respective opponents scoreless. The Rams shut out Nevada, 10-0, in five innings, while the Bulldogs blanked Boise State, 5-0, and the Rebels defeated New Mexico, 8-0, in six innings.
