FRESNO, Calif. - Timeout and Victor E. are hosting the first ever Fresno State Bark in the Park at Bulldog Diamond on Saturday, May 4. Fans are invited to bring their dogs to the ball park to enjoy one of the final softball games of the 2013 season.

"Having `Dog' lovers bring their dogs to Bulldog Diamond for a fun game and event is tremendous," said Senior Associate Athletics Director of External Relations Paul Ladwig. "I am sure the berm will never be the same after this game on Saturday!"

Dogs will receive free admission with one paid adult. All dogs must remain on a leash and can enjoy the game out on the berm, where the canine cabana will be set up. The first 50 dogs at Bulldog Diamond will get a goodie bag filled with chew toys, treats and more.

All dogs owners must sign a pet waiver at the dog entrance, which is located on the gravel lot in the northeast corner of Bulldog Diamond. All dogs must remain on a leash that does not exceed six feet at all times and owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pet.

The berm will have dog bowls filled with dog biscuits and kiddy pools filled with water for dogs to enjoy. There will be a contest for the best dressed dog at the game. The winner of the best dressed dog contest will receive Bulldog gear from the Bulldog Shop.

Also in attendance at Saturday's game will be a pet adoption unit, which holds 25 dogs that are available for adoption through the Valley Animal Center.
