COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Boise State sophomore centerfielder Tara Glover and San Diego State senior righthander Bailey Micetich have been named Mountain West Player and Pitcher of the Week, respectively, for games through April 29. This is the eighth career MW weekly accolade for Micetich and third for Glover.

Glover batted .667 (8-for-12) from her leadoff position while helping Boise State to a 2-1 series win against Mountain West opponent New Mexico last week. The Grants Pass, Ore., native registered multiple hits in all three contests, finishing with two doubles and two home runs while posting slugging and on-base percentages of 1.333 and .667, respectively. She scored seven times and drove in three runs. Glover hit two doubles while going 3-for-4 with three runs scored in Friday's 8-5 series-opening win. On Saturday, the sophomore again turned in a 3-for-4 performance at the plate, hitting a leadoff homer and scoring three times while driving in two runs in the 8-6 victory. Glover hit another leadoff homer in Sunday's series finale, finishing the game 2-for-4 with one run scored and one RBI in the 6-5, eight-inning loss. Defensively, Glover recorded four putouts from her outfield position during the series.

Micetich tossed a five-inning, complete-game shutout in San Diego State's 10-0 win over Cal State last Wednesday. The Woodland, Calif., product surrendered just two singles without allowing a Titan runner to advance past second base. She struck out 11 batters against no walks.
