Softball schedule updated for weekend series vs. San Diego State
May 4, 2013
FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Today’s softball series opener between the Colorado State Rams and the San Diego State Aztecs has been pushed back to a 4 p.m. MT start to allow more time for field conditions to improve.
The three-game series will now shift to a single contest today, with a double header beginning at 10 a.m. MT tomorrow. The second game of tomorrow’s double header will begin at approximately 12 p.m. MT, or 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.
The Rams’ “Senior Day” celebration will now take place prior to the start of the first game of the double header.
Colorado State (21-22, 7-5 MW) is one game behind San Diego State (30-17, 8-4 MW) in the race for the conference championship. Colorado State closes its regular-season schedule May 9-11, traveling to Albuquerque, N.M., for a matchup with last-place New Mexico (21-29, 3-9 MW).
Parking and admission to all CSU softball home games is free of charge. Fans unable to attend the games can catch all the action with GameTracker live statistics at CSURams.com, or follow @CSUSoftball and @CSURamsGameday on twitter for updates throughout the weekend.
