FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The Colorado State softball team announced Thursday morning that the schedule for this weekend’s season-ending series with the New Mexico Lobos has been changed because of anticipated rain in the Fort Collins area on Friday.

The Rams and the Lobos were originally scheduled to play one game Thursday afternoon, followed by a Friday double header.

The teams will now meet for a twin bill Thursday afternoon beginning at 3 p.m. at Ram Field, followed by a single game on Friday morning schedule for an 11 a.m. first pitch.

The Rams, under second-year Head Coach Jen Fisher, are 26-22 overall (5-4 MW), and sit third in the Mountain West standings with a chance at a top-two finish with a strong showing this weekend against the Lobos.

Admission to all CSU softball games is free of charge, and the Rams will honor 2012 seniors Lyssa Roberts and Kelli Eubanks with a pre-game ceremony on Friday.
