Tennis Recap: Colorado State drops 5-2 decision to Cal State Fullerton

FULLERTON, CALIF. - The Colorado State women’s tennis team lost a tough match to Cal State Fullerton, 5-2, Wednesday, in the first match of their road trip.
The Rams lost the crucial doubles point, by losing all three sets. Natalie Heffron and Adriana Wojakowska lost a hard fought match at the No. 3 doubles position to Rebekka Ermac and Megan Sandford 8-7, to give the Titans the doubles point.
In singles, the Rams won two out of the possible six singles matches. Natalie Heffron defeated Tiffany Mai 2-6, 6-3, 6-4, at the No. 1 position. Kendall Heitzner defeated Monica Rodriguez 6-3, 6-3, at the No. 3 position.
The Rams will look to capture a victory Saturday when they take on Cal State Los Angeles, March 23, at 11 a.m., in Los Angeles.
