FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The Colorado State women’s tennis team concluded day two at the Jack Taylor Classic held by Boise State Saturday.

“Today was one of the tougher days of competition,” said Head Coach Messick. “But we held up really good.”
In the orange flight, first round loss consolation draw, sophomore Adriana Wojakowska advanced to the semifinals.
Freshman Jennifer Weissmann was the only player to advance to the championship. She had a tough three-set match but fought through winning 0-6, 6-2, 6-2.
“Our effort was as competitive as it has been,” said Messick.
In doubles, Schultz and Heitzner advanced to the championship of the first round loss consolation blue flight draw.
“Over half of the team is still playing,” said Messick.
In doubles, the Rams were 10-2. Out of the two matches the Rams lost, they came back and had a chance to win.
“It was a lot better than yesterday,” said Messick.
