FORT COLLINS, Colo.—The Colorado State women’s tennis team will travel to Laramie, Wyo., Saturday to compete against New Mexico. Then on Sunday, the team will return to Fort Collins to play nationally ranked TCU.
CSU (4-11, 1-3 Mountain West) will face New Mexico (7-9, 0-4 MW) at 10 a.m. MT. The Lobos had a strong start to their season, but have struggled for the past few weeks. The Rams defeated New Mexico last year in a close victory, 4-3.
On Sunday, the Rams will go up against No. 41 TCU (12-5, 4-0 MW) at 9:30 a.m. MT at the University Tennis Complex. The Frogs have had a solid season and have won five straight matches entering play this weekend. CSU lost last year to the Frogs, 7-0.
If weather conditions are poor, the match will move to Miramont Lifestyle Fitness. Check csurams.com for change of venues.
Also Sunday, the Rams are hosting Kids Day. There will be free food to all that attend.
Admission is free and open to the public.
The Rams will next take on Northern Colorado, April 13 at 2:30 p.m. MT, before facing Wyoming April 14 at 12 p.m. MT. Both matches will be at the University Tennis Complex.
