Pack Bested by Unbeaten Pacific

STOCKTON, Calif. – The University of Nevada Volleyball team fell 3-0 to the Pacific Tigers in its second match at the Bankers Classic on Saturday.
A loss in the first of two matches on the day for Nevada dropped the Wolf Pack to 1-4, while Pacific remained undefeated and improved to 5-0.
Tessa Lea’ea led the Pack with another solid offensive performance. She had 12 kills, making her the only player to record double-digit kills for Nevada. She also limited her mistakes, recording only three errors and a hitting percentage of .391.
The Pack hit .190 as a team and tallied 33 kills as a team.
Pacific had three players with at least 10 kills and was led by Kat Schultz with 15. She hit .560 to lead all players and posted a double-double with 14 digs.
Nevada will close out the event with a match against Portland State at 5 p.m. A complete recap of the day’s action will follow.
