LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV volleyball program has received a generous donation to the program of $25,000 from Les Perryman on behalf of Family Heritage Life-CancerUSA LLC, a national supplemental health insurance marketing firm.

"We are so grateful to Mr. Perryman and Family Heritage Life-CancerUSA for their generous donation and support of the Rebel volleyball program," said UNLV head coach Cindy Fredrick. "Our women will benefit immediately, as we will have the funds to support summer school for our student-athletes. This is an unprecedented donation, and we are all honored by their support of our female student-athletes."

The Rebels closed out their fall season with an 18-11 overall record and a third-place finish behind a 10-6 mark in Mountain West play. Individually, Madeline Westman, a junior middle blocker, was selected to her second consecutive All-MW Team.

"We feel that UNLV and the women involved in UNLV Athletics are very important to all of us in Las Vegas," proclaimed Perryman. "We urge everyone to support all athletics at UNLV. FHL-USA is proud to contribute to the Rebel volleyball program. We believe UNLV is building a nationally prominent volleyball program, and helping to bring recognition to all female volleyball players at all levels in the Las Vegas area."
