FRESNO, Calif. - The Bulldog volleyball team hit the court for the first time of the 2012 season on Wednesday. The 'Dogs return 12 familiar faces from last year's squad and ready to take on a new conference this season.

The day started out with fitness testing in the morning at the weight room. Later on in the day, all 14 members of the 2012 team participated in competitive drills and fundamental skills sessions during a pair of practices that emphasized footwork, serving, attacking, perfect form and a host of core principles.

Head Coach Lauren Netherby-Sewell and the Bulldogs kick off the 2012 season on Aug. 24 at the El Paso Sport Commission invite against host UTEP. The season opening tournament also features Arizona State and Idaho State.

Season tickets are available for $55 (adults) and $35 (senior and youth) while a Family & Friends Flex Pack can be purchased for only $89 and allows four fans to attend every match.
