Lobo Volleyball Home Matches to be Broadcast by ProView Networks

Aug. 23, 2012

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The University of New Mexico and Lobo volleyball head coach Jeff Nelson are pleased to announce that all home matches of the 2012 season will be streamed live and broadcast on tape delay by ProView Networks, an Albuquerque production company.

The provisional plan is that all 17 (12 dates) of the Lobos' home matches will be produced by ProView Networks. Matches can be viewed live via ProView Networks' Web site, www.ProViewNetworks.com, or by tape delay on local cable channel 27. Web viewing is free, and tentatively, matches will air 6-10 p.m. on Monday and/or Tuesday evenings on channel 27.

The local company will provide fans access to UNM volleyball using three cameras and two talent commentators with the production of each match concluding with player and coach interviews.

Match broadcasts begin this Friday and Saturday as the Lobos open their season with the Sheraton Airport/LA Boxing Lobo Classic. All six contests of the tournament will be streamed live. UNM begins play at 3 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 24 against Southern and has another match at 7:30 p.m. against Duquesne.

ProView Networks produces roughly 600 New Mexican sporting events each year, covering mostly Albuquerque Public School events and New Mexico Highlands University events.
