REBEL REWIND: The UNLV Rebels went 1-2 last weekend at the Louisville Invitational hosted by the University of Louisville in Kentucky. UNLV's first two matches - both losses - were to teams receiving votes in the AVCA Top 25 Poll. Kinsey Caldwell was the primary setter for UNLV and dished out 113 of the team's 140 assists compiled on the weekend. Caldwell also had 45 digs, which combined with her assists gave her two double-doubles at the tournament. She also chipped in five kills, three assisted blocks and an ace.
Five different Rebels had 20 or more digs with Allison Davies (46) and Falemaka (40) breaking the 40-dig barrier. Falemaka used a combination of her digs and kills for two double-doubles.
Stephanie Thelen, who had 34 digs and 26 kills, had one double-double of her own.
Westman, who was named to the all-tournament team, led the Rebels at the net with 15 total blocks with three of the solo variety.
