SCOUTING THE WOLFPACK
Mountain West newcomer Nevada enters Thursday's match with the Falcons holding a 4-14 overall record, as well as a 1-4 mark in league play. Last weekend, the Wolfpack dropped a five-set decision to instate rival UNLV, before being swept by Fresno State at home. Tessa Lea'ea currently leads Nevada in both kills and blocks, holding per-set averages of 3.06 and 1.40, respectively.
A COACHING CONNECTION
Nevada head coach Ruth Lawanson served as an assistant for Air Force during the 2008-09 seasons.
SCOUTING THE AZTECS
In its final season with the Mountain West, San Diego State is currently 11-6 on the year and 3-2 in conference play. The Aztecs, who will visit Boise State on Oct. 11, are coming off of a pair of five-set victories against Fresno State and UNLV last weekend. Four players currently average over 2.30 kills per set, while Summer Nash leads the way with a 3.07 average. In addition, three Aztecs average over one block per set, highlighted by Emily Harris' 1.25 average.

Cami Richan is ranked fifth in kills (3.45 kps) and 10th in points (3.63 pps), while Keltner continues to lead the league in double-doubles with 12.
MORE FROM THE LEAGUE STANDINGS
Cami Richan's 27 kills against Arkansas State remains the conference's second-highest overall single-match performance of the season, while Maiya Perich's 30 digs against Army is tied for fourth.
KELTNER TAKES THE LEAD
During the Falcons' 3-0 loss to New Mexico on Oct. 6, Hillary Keltner collected team-leading totals in both assists (27) and digs (10). It is the second time this season that Keltner has paced the team in those two stat categories.
