COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - UNLV picked up a key Mountain West road win on Friday night, beating Fresno State, 3-1, to hold onto a share of first place at the halfway point of the Conference women's volleyball season. Colorado State maintained the other share of first place with a 3-0 home win over Air Force.

Rebels leave Fresno with First Place in Tow
Oct. 19, 2012 - The UNLV volleyball team (14-7 overall, 6-2 Mountain West) closed out the first half of the Mountain West regular season with a 3-1 road win against the Fresno State Bulldogs (12-8, 5-3 MW) in Fresno, Calif., on Friday night. By virtue of its 6-2 record in MW action, UNLV will make the turn for the second half of league play with at least a share of first place. The Rebels won the match - played at the Save Mart Center - in come-from-behind fashion with set scores of 13-25, 25-18, 25-22, 27-25. [READ MORE]
