COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - UNLV moved into first place in the Mountain West women's volleyball standings with a 3-1 win over New Mexico on Thursday night at The Pit. San Diego State defeated Colorado State, 3-1, while Wyoming stopped Nevada, 3-0. In non-conference play, Fresno State beat CSU Bakersfield, 3-1.

Rebels Waltz Out Of The Pit With A Win
Oct. 25, 2012 - The UNLV volleyball team (15-7 overall, 7-2 Mountain West) waltzed out of The Pit on Thursday evening with a 3-1 victory over the New Mexico Lobos (18-7, 5-4 MW) in Mountain West volleyball action. Aztecs Defeat Colorado State In Four Sets
Oct. 25, 2012 - San Diego State roared back from an opening set loss to defeat Colorado State, 3-1 (24-26, 25-20, 26-24, 25-15), Thursday night on Aztec Court in Peterson Gym. The win ended SDSU's 22-match losing streak at the hands of the Rams as it improved to 15-7 overall and 6-3 in the Mountain West to move into a tie for second place. [READ MORE]

Cowgirls Win Third-Consecutive MW Match Sweeping Wolf Pack
Oct. 25, 2012 - The Wyoming Cowgirl volleyball team won its third-consecutive match on Thursday night, with a three-set sweep (25-15, 26-24, 26-24) of the Nevada Wolf Pack (4-18 overall, 1-8 Mountain West) in Reno, Nev. The Cowgirls won their third-consecutive Mountain West match advancing their record to 4-5 in the league and 16-8 overall. Senior outside hitter Jodi Purdy recorded her 10th double-double of the season with 11 kills and 15 digs, while also adding seven blocks and seven assists. Purdy now has 56 career double-doubles and is one shy of tying the MW all-time double-double record of 57. [READ MORE]
