COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Boise State, Fresno State and Wyoming picked up wins in Mountain West women's volleyball action on Wednesday night. The Broncos swept UNLV, 3-0, on the road, while the Bulldogs beat Air Force, 3-0. The Cowgirls wrapped up the regular season with a 3-1 victory over New Mexico.

Cowgirls Close Season With Four-Set Victory Over New Mexico On Senior Night
Nov. 21, 2012 - The Wyoming Cowgirl volleyball team closed out the 2012 regular season with a four-set victory (25-23, 19-25, 25-18, 25-20) over the New Mexico Lobos (20-12, 7-8 Mountain West) on Wednesday night in Laramie. Wyoming volleyball honored its three seniors Makenzie Bartsch, Camille Coffman and Jodi Purdy prior to the match. The victory advanced the Cowgirls record to 21-11 overall and 8-8 in MW matches. Purdy recorded 11 kills and set the all-time kills record for the Cowgirls with 1,559. She also recorded 10 digs for her 15th double-double of the season and her 61st of her career. [READ MORE]

Bulldogs Soar Past Falcons
Nov. 21, 2012 - The Fresno State volleyball team took care of business Wednesday night at the Save Mart Center after defeating Air Force in three-straight sets. The Bulldogs (17-13, 8-7 MW) saw a balanced attack on offense in their 17th win of the season. Four `Dogs recorded eight or more kills in the match. [READ MORE]

Boise State Stuns UNLV in Three Sets
Nov. 21, 2012 - Liz Harden led Boise State volleyball to a straight set victory 27-25, 26-24, 25-23 on the road to stun UNLV Wednesday night in Cox Pavilion at Las Vegas. All three sets went to the wire with the Broncos rallying from three points down in the first two periods. Harden led Boise State surges late in each set as the blue and orange claimed the big road victory, she moved into sixth-place on the Boise State career kills list with 17 against the Rebels giving her a career total of 1,127. For the first time since 1992 Boise State clinched its third-consecutive winning season as the Broncos moved to 17-14 overall and 8-7 in Mountain West play. They will conclude the regular season this Friday night when they travel to play at Fresno State, there will not be Mountain West tournament this year. [READ MORE]
