Fans encouraged to send off volleyball team

The Colorado State women’s volleyball team departs for Tallahassee, Fla., for the first round of the NCAA tournament on Wednesday, and fans are encouraged to be part of the sendoff.
The team will leave for DIA from Moby Arena at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. Fans are asked to join the team on the south ramp of Moby Arena to cheer them on before they leave.
The Rams face the Purdue Boilermakers in the opening round on Friday at 2:30 p.m. MT. Immediately following, host Florida State will play Hofstra. The two winning teams will then square off on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. MT for the chance to advance to next weekend’s regional in West Lafayette, Ind. All three matches this weekend will take place at Tully Gym, on Florida State’s campus.
Fans interested in attending the first-round match vs. Purdue can purchase tickets at an affordable price. A limited number of tickets for the entire weekend are now available through CSU’s ticket office.
Tournament passes provide the best bargain for fans, and include all three matches for the weekend. Passes are on sale for $10 for adults, $6 for seniors and students, and $4 for youth 18 years old or under. Children two years old and under are admitted free. All seats are general admission.
Tickets can be purchased at the McGraw Athletic Center ticket office, which is open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Additionally, tickets can be purchased over the phone by calling toll free at 1-800-491-RAMS (7267).
Single-day tickets for Friday’s matches or Saturday’s single match will only be available through Florida State’s ticket office, beginning Friday.
