FRESNO, Calif. - Head coach Lauren Netherby-Sewell announced the addition of Brooke Legaux to the Fresno State volleyball roster for 2013. Legaux signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Bulldogs during the November signing period.

"In a year where we only graduate two - one of whom is an All-Conference setter - Brooke is a key get for us," said Netherby-Sewell. "As soon as we signed her our offense got more sophisticated. She has size, vision and understanding of the game. Brooke will not be an ordinary freshman. She'll help us improve as soon as she arrives on campus. We're pleased to have her entire family join ours!"

Legaux, a 5-11 setter from Tesoro High School, was named co-MVP of the Pacific Coast League in 2011 as she helped the Titans win their first ever league title. Legaux guided the Titans to a 20-6 finish as a junior. She also earned All-Pacific Coast League honors during her sophomore campaign in 2010.

During her senior season, Legaux and the Titans had an overall record of 15-3. She was named team captain and helped the Titans to the CIF semifinal match. She is a four year letterwinner with the Titans and played under head coach Rich Polk.

Legaux played club volleyball most recently for the Tstreet Volleyball Club. With Tstreet, Legaux placed third at the Junior Nationals Tournament and won the Arizona State Fiesta Classic.

Legaux joins the Bulldogs in 2012, who return all, but one starter and all, but two letterwinners. The `Dogs wrapped up their first season in the Mountain West earning fourth place in the league and recorded an overall record of 18-13.
