The 2015 Mountain West Women's Golf Championship will be played on the Dinah Shore Tournament Course at Mission Hills Country Club (par 72, 6,291 yards) in Rancho Mirage, Calif., April 20-22. It is the third straight year the tournament will be held at Mission Hills.

All nine Mountain West teams will participate in the 54-hole championship. 18 holes will be played each day (Monday-Wednesday), with tee times beginning at 7 a.m. PT.

UNLV and San Diego State, which finished the 2014 championship as two of three teams that tied for third place, enter this year's tournament ranked 20th and 27th, respectively, in the latest Golfstat rankings. The Rebels are in search of their fifth Mountain West title overall, while the Aztecs seek their first-ever MW crown. San José State, which finished its MW tournament debut as 2014 runner-up, is No. 45 in the Golfstat rankings, while Fresno State is 69th, Boise State is 82nd, and Nevada is 102nd. Colorado State and Wyoming will each participate in their 16th Mountain West championship, as the Rams are ranked 108th and the Cowgirls are 115th. Rounding out the contingent is defending MW champion and No. 118 New Mexico. The Lobos won three straight crowns from 2008-10 and eight overall (2000-03, 2014).

Eight of last year's top-10 finishers return in 2015, including the top five individuals that were separated by three strokes. Fresno State's Gudrun Bjorgvinsdottir looks to defend her 2014 title where she posted her first collegiate tournament victory at 2-over-par 218 (71-71-76). Two-time defending MW Women's Golfer of the Year Dana Finkelstein of UNLV (73-69-77), as well as Emma Henrikson of San Diego State (71-73-75), each were one stroke back, posting identical scores of 3-over 219. San José State's Regan De Guzman concluded the 2014 tournament in fourth at 4-over 220 (73-72-75), followed by New Mexico's Manon Molle in fifth at 5-over-221 (71-71-79). Fresno State's Madchen Ly placed sixth in last year's field at 6-over 222, while Boise State's Samantha Martin was one of two players at 7-over 223 to tie for seventh. San Diego State's Paige Spiranac completed the 2014 tournament at 9-over 225 to place 10th overall.
