Women's Soccer Weekly Release
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – With just one date left on the Mountain West women’s soccer regular-season schedule, six teams remain in the hunt for the final three spots in the 2015 MW Championship. San Diego State (9-1-0 MW) claimed its fourth-consecutive Mountain West regular-season title last weekend and has already secured the No. 1 seed for next week’s tournament. New Mexico (7-2-1 MW) and San José State (7-3-0 MW) have also clinched spots in the six-team tournament field.
The six teams vying for the final three slots in the tournament include Wyoming (5-4-1 MW), Utah State (5-5-0 MW), UNLV (5-5-0 MW), Boise State (5-5-0 MW), Colorado College (5-5-0 MW) and Fresno State (4-5-1 MW). The Cowgirls square off against Colorado State in Fort Collins, while Utah State hosts Boise State in Logan, Utah. Fresno State travels to face San José State, before Colorado College plays at Air Force and UNLV welcomes Nevada to Las Vegas. All matches will take place on Friday, Oct. 30.
The 2015 Mountain West Women’s Soccer Championship kicks off on Tuesday, Nov. 3 atop the SDSU Sportsdeck on the campus of San Diego State.
