MW Women's Golfer of the Week - March 7

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – New Mexico graduate Lauren Lehigh has been named the Mountain West Women’s Golfer of the Week. There is no MW Freshman of the Week selection.

The weekly honor is the second of Lehigh’s career and first since March 16, 2023.

• Tied for second at The Show at Spanish Trail in Las Vegas for her highest finish in three seasons.
• Shot under par in all three rounds, turning in a 4-under-par 212 for her second top-five finish this season.
• Opened with a 1-under 71, followed by a 2-under 70. Closed with another 71 to share runner-up honors in the 77-woman field.
• Helped New Mexico tie for sixth place in the elite field, which included seven teams ranked in the top 40 nationally and three in the top 25.
• Helped the Lobos jump nine spots in the national rankings.
