NORTH LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV women’s golf junior McKenzi Hall wrapped up play at the LPGA Tour’s T-Mobile Match Play presented by MGM Rewards in Thursday’s second round at Shadow Creek Golf Course (Par 72, 6,804 yards).

With the cut to the top 65 individuals at 9-over for the tournament after 36 holes, Hall’s first appearance in a professional event came to a close after placing 96th at 25-over 169. The Las Vegas native made par on seven holes on the day, including five on the front nine, as she finished the day at 14-over 86.

Hall was the only amateur player in the field after she received one of two MGM Resorts International sponsor exemptions into the event.

Ending the round in a four-way tie for first, Carlota Ciganda, Angel Yin, Rose Zhang and Sei Young Kim moved alongside each other at 4-under.

UP NEXT: Hall will return to collegiate competition with her Rebel teammates when they play in Baylor’s Texas Showdown from April 8-9.
